He had seen the hole earlier and had been unable to get to it, but now he saw it was still there, and he was only a few feet away from it. He didn’t want to start celebrating yet, it was still premature and he was still in the hospital. But, he stopped suddenly as he saw a hand jut out from the hole, grabbing onto the sides and hauling itself through. That’s when he saw the claws, the black stark against the breaking white walls.
Followed with the clawed hands, a leg came out followed by the rest of the creature. It was tall, with large arms that hung down to its knees. It turned in his direction and he saw the peeled away skin, the broken ribs, the blood as it dribbled down its skin falling onto the floor with a hissing sound, and the face that was covered in it’s own putrid skin that seemed to glisten in the light as if covered in a fine sheen of sweat, the appearance looking sickly.
The creature stopped, craning its neck and turning in Henry’s direction, and he stood stock still, hoping the thing wouldn’t notice him standing there, not even two feet away. The creature let its neck down again, and began to shuffle towards him and then past him, its sightless eyes rolling around underneath the membranous material. Acidic blood continued to coalesce and drip down its chest, sliding to the floor where it would begin to corrode, eating away the stone underneath their feet.
Henry just stared forward until he heard the shuffling turn a corner and then he finally allowed himself to blink, move, and most importantly, breathe. He turned to the hole, ready to get out of this world, but when he looked again, the hole was gone, having disappeared like so many holes he had to go through before. Cursing to himself, he set about to find another hole that he could crawl through. But, before he walked any further, the hole appeared again, this time much larger than before, and with it came several cockroach-looking bugs that were about the size of his fist.
He turned to look at the hole completely and found himself staring again as a creature came out that he had never seen before. This one appeared almost human, with arms the right length and proportion, nothing wrong with his chest or stomach, and he even walked normal. He wore a smock of what looked like flesh of some sort, Henry not wanting to say what he believed it was, and he wore long gloves that were covered in blood. So he appeared normal…that is until you got to the head. The head was covered in what looked like a giant helmet the shape of a pyramid. The helmet seemed to be a black cage with bolts holding it together. It was pointy on one side of the helmet, the back being flat, and Henry blanched at the sight of the huge sword that he dragged along slowly behind him.
“I can feel the presence of the one who hasn’t been caught here. Do you see them?” A young girl’s voice asked and Henry dove before whatever that thing was saw him. He was hiding behind the Nurse’s station desk and didn’t dare try and see what as going on. He hadn’t seen many horror movies, but he wasn’t an idiot. “You haven’t? Then that must mean that they’re further in this Hell. Come, Pyramid. Let’s go look for them.” Giant, booming steps echoed throughout the room, causing Henry’s small headache to start to pound, and he noticed that suddenly, the place was quiet.
Looking up and over the desk, he sighed in relief that the guy was gone. He saw that the hole was still there and, without warning, he plunged into it, stepping out onto an unknown street where fog threatened to swallow him up and limited his visibility to about one foot in front of him. Just where in Hell he was…even he didn’t know.
God this chapter took forever to do! I finished writing it earlier, but I didn't like the last five paragraphs, or tried to, but I had to go and entertain one of my sisters and her friends, so I couldnt get back to it until about an hour ago. So, I finally finished this chapter, and I have to say, I like the final result. So, Henry is somewhere he's never been, and we see the return of a fan favorite. Anway, here's the disclaimer from the secretary of South Ashfield apartments.

Secretary: ...Don't I even get a name? (No, just get going!) *sighs* Fine. unlabeledpunk doesn't own anything other than Kimber, one of the monsters, a few OCs and the plotline.

Good girl! Now, on with the story!
